Has anyone here transferred to USC and had to deal with their policy of assigning a "Transfer GPA?" So far they are the only school I have ever heard of that does this. I am completing my associates in Business Administration this December and I would hope I could put USC on my list of possible transfers.

One Problem.

While I'm graduating Summa Cum Laude from my current two year college, and am an Officer of Phi Theta Kappa honors society, I have a poor transcript from the first four year I ever attended. I plan to attend grad school so taking on a poor GPA at USC due to my past transcripts worries me. I will have above a 3.8 when I graduate in December with over 60 credits completed, but my previous gpa is a 1.8 with only 20 credits completed.

Could I still count USC as a possibility, or would the transfer GPA seriously hurt my hopes of getting to a good law and business grad school?
