<p>I am just wondering about how grades are transfered to georgia tech if you transfer in from another college. For example, a few classes i know of have a grading scale of 85-100 is an A, or others use a + - system. Does GT translate your grade to their system to calculate your gpa? or do they use whatever you got at another institution? If i got an 85 in a class and that is an A at one place, but its a B at GT... will i get a B on my transcript?</p>
<p>When transfering to Georgia Tech from another school your hours are the only thing that transfers. Your GPA is calculated only for the classes you take at Georgia Tech.</p>
