Terrible high school grades. Making it up now in community college. But I am afraid my high school grades will hold me back. Now with a 3.7, would LSA be out of reach after soph year, or earliest possible? I have two options on the table right now with what I would like to do with my life. I love law and politics and that was my initial plan. But the more research I do I am starting to see LSA might become impossible. But I like sports/entertainment management as well. I just need some help on where I should apply and if I could apply to multiple schools, so if I get denied to LSA I could go somewhere else. Thanks, any response or help would be fantastic

I got a 2.8 in high school and got accepted to LSA with a 3.5 college gpa on my application. I am happily leaving my first college with a 3.7 and am moving to Ann Arbor next month to start my junior year. :)

I am majoring in political science, you and I may have a lot in common!

Yeah I saw another post of yours and I thought to myself, this person is just like me lol. Nice to see someone succeed, gives me hope!

Your chances should be pretty good with your current GPA. Remember that UMich’s transfer acceptance rate is pretty high at over 40% IIRC, though LSA is supposed to be alot more selective.
