I'm currently a freshman at Michigan State University. I am an out of state student and my experience here as been mediocre at best. Before I stepped foot on campus I knew I would hopefully transfer to one of the schools I was turned down by, as well as a school that was closer to home and in a more urban environment. I plan on applying to a few schools as a Fall 2013 transfer student. Being at a school like MSU that is generally ranked high compared to most schools, what grades will I need in my first year to transfer to schools such as NYU, William & Mary, U of Wisconsin, U of Virginia and UNC? Also, will it be easier to transfer to those schools if I applied during my Sophomore year? I am not a business major either, so please keep that in mind.

Thank you very much!!
