i want to apply as a transfer to the ag school for fall 2007. however, i do not think i can meet all prerequisites by then unless i take it in the summer. is there a way an application for transfer admission can be deferred or given "GT" status for a later semester incase they want to see grades for prereqs? if not, i'm not sure if i should apply now or wait to hopefully transfer in spring 2008. if i do happen to apply now, and get rejected for fall 2007, can i apply again for spring 2008 or does it require a full year of waiting prior to applying again? im too stressed..help.

if you're rejected in the fall, you can't reapply in the spring.

I don't think you can have your application deferred. The best you could do would be to indicate that you plan on taking the prereqs, but since you wouldn't be taking them until the summer and they will be making their decision in April/May, it will be pointless. Your chances really aren't good without the prereqs - it's good you realize that. My advice is to wait and apply for the spring 2008 semester.

I applied AEM and I had Chemistry 1 and 2 instead of biology and I still got accepted. hope that helps

could you tell me where it says you can't reaaply in the spring if you dont get accepted in the fall

nevermind...

somewhat. the prereqs im concerned about are for the AEM major. i would have to take bio 1, bio 2, and macroeconomics during the summer if i wanted to attend cornell in fall 2007. do you think theyll go for it?

how about a bump

I think it says they do not look at the courses you take during the summer before you come to Cornell. But I suggest you call the admissions office, even better you can email them, that way when they say you can do that you have it in writing.

thanks, i'll try that.
