I am a freshman in college. I applied to Fordham as a high school senior and was accepted, but not offered housing. Ultimately, that is the main reason why I turned down their offer. Now, I am at a school which I do not like and am starting to research colleges to transfer to. I would love to apply to Fordham again. Should I try it or do you think its pointless? I feel like if I didn't get housing then I'm not going to get housing now...

IMO it is worth applying but you can’t count on getting housing. From what I can tell some, but certainly not all transfers get housing. I imagine that the number of transfers getting housing fluctuates year to year depending how many spots are open. A friend of mine who transferred to Fordham got off campus university housing. But after one semester she and a friend she made first semester in the off campus housing were able to move to Walsh together.

Not sure which campus you are referring to, but at LC, the new law school building should be done by next fall, and it will have new freshman housing, which I would imagine, will free up a lot of space in the main dorm building. So I’m guessing there will be a lot more housing available.

I’m talking about Rose Hill. But thank you, I appreciate your opinions guys!
