Transfer Housing

Anyone know when we hear about where we live next year?

you'll likely be living in an apartment complex near the school that CAS is purchasing for transfer students. This is from the mouth of my advisor who has been speaking with the Dean of CAS. You may get lucky and end up getting housing on-campus, but even if not you should still be set as long as the deal goes through.

hmm, i'm not too crazy about apartment setups (at my school now, living in an apartment is kinda...meh). Anyone know about the village? i know they have a transfer bloc, but I"m curious as to how that's worked out.

When I wanted to try to line up living there for next spring after being abroad in the fall, I was told that the timeline for signing up to live there had already passed (this was in March). Not sure how it would work for an incoming student.

Yeah, that's where I was wanting to house. I don't know, but no spots were available when I called. Evidently housing is tight for transfers even if they got a housing app...a girl that was admitted as a transfer called me and asked if I wanted to room with her and a friend in an apartment. She is a Transfer Orientation Coordinator (separate application and everything, so she should be getting the royal treatment) and still didn't get a spot on campus.
