I have an associates degree already with 77 credits and a 2.8 GPA. (My mom had an emergency heart surgery my second fall term and I dropped all my classes because I couldn’t handle the stress.) I am in state so I have that going for me. Do I stand a chance?
Most majors have a list of pre-requisite classes and minimum gpa requirement. Do you know what those are for your intended major and do you meet them?
You can use transferology to evaluate the classes you’ve taken and see which OSU classes you’ll receive credit for.

If your gpa is far from the minimum for your major and you have several more classes required before you can apply to your major, consider starting at an OSU branch which only requires a 2.0 gpa in every class attempted to be admitted. Below that and you may be able to get a contingent admission. You will have a clean slate to start your gpa over. If you can excel at the OSU classes your transfer to main campus is assured. Tuition for in state is also much less at the branches. Each one offers different courses, so research which one would be the best fit for the classes you need. You may find you are able to complete your degree at a branch since several majors and pre-professional programs are available at each one.
