Hi, I am currently a 2nd year CNR nutrisci major in UC Berkeley, however I want to switch my major to Architecture.

I did not do the early submission (April 1) because both advisers from CED recommended me not to (because my current GPA is only a 2.9), they both told me to submit before June 1 instead since I to bring my grades up first.

I am already on the right track:
fulfilled the 7 breadths already
ED 1, ED 11A, ED 11B, taking ARCH100A over this summer

My questions/ concerns are:

About how many percentage of students generally get accepted?
What if my grades go down even more after this semester (I am taking 16 units)?
What if I don't get in, since I am a 2nd year student already. . .
If I don't get in, wouldn't it be too late for me to start a whole new major?

I feel like I should've done the early submission, because everyone I talked to who did it got accepted already. =[

I am so confused and everytime I go to the CED advisers, they tell me the same thing: bring up my GPA, and start thinking of a backup major since there's not guarantee for me of getting in.
