Hey CC, didn’t super expect to be back here but here I am. Right now, I’m a current freshman at a top public(UCLA/Berkeley) and I’m thinking of trying to transfer into UPenn Wharton because I’ve realized that the network is simply ridiculous out of there, to the point where it is just so much harder to get to where I eventually want to go from my school. Which brings me to my question: what do I say for my reason to transfer? I don’t have much of a reason other than career opportunities and I like my school enough to stay. Is there anyone else who did this who faced a similar dilemma? Thanks in advance
When I transferred in F15, only 13 people were Whartonites, out of the 150 or so transfers, and they all had around 35 ACTs. If Penn is your goal, maybe you should try applying to the College. On Campus Recruiting (OCR) is open to ALL Penn students, and students in the College have pretty much the same access to all the resources Wharton kids have. If you were in HS I’d say apply to Wharton but since you’re not, you should apply to the college if you really wanna go to Penn.
