Transfer Options

Hey guys

So I’m thinking about transferring to another school as a Junior. I thought I could apply to a few different schools just to see what my options are. However, I wouldn’t really mind if I didn’t get in anywhere as I could probably get through 2 more years at my current school.

Statistics
Current School: Tulane University, 3.72 GPA
ACT: 33
High-School GPA: 3.8 Unweighted

I also belong to a few clubs and organizations that I can talk about in my application. My academic advisor said that my extracurriculars are good enough so I won’t post them here because it would take a while.

Potential schools:
Reach: UPenn, Cornell, Georgetown, University of Chicago, Duke, Johns Hopkins
Normal: Emory, NYU, Boston College, Wake Forest, UVA

Wait, what’s your question? I’m curious what you don’t like about Tulane specifically?

I honestly don’t know enough aboUt the transfer process to chance you, but I can offer a few words about NYU because I’m a current student here. It seems like most of the transfers I know are in Gallatin( i am not, so it’s not like I know majority gallatin students) or CAS(but to a lesser extent). I know zero Stern transfers. Not sure if this info is helpful but just something to keep in mind when considering transferring to NYU because all of the schools are very, VERY separate and have very different acceptance rates.
