thinking about northwestern, uchicago, dartmouth, georgetown, umich (ross)

major: econ/business(finance) and/or polisci

ec: lots in hs... just parli debate in college so far

theoretically speaking, anyone above a 3.8 has a good chance at any of those schools, but its always hard to say who will get in based on just stats. That probably doesnt help, but its true :-

does anyone have any suggestions for other schools?

You look competitive at all your options. You have a strong record even from HS. What is your current major?

Maybe add Cornell, WashU and Emory as more match type transfers.

McCombs has had good transfer rates so I think you're in there.

IMO you will atleast get accepted to 4/5 schools you mentioned.

McCombs at UT has EXTREMELY tough transfer rates for OOS.

There's a thread that shows the actual results (recent thread).

does anyone know if these schools look more at high school stats or college stats

If you apply for sophomore standing then they evaluate your HS stats MORE so than they do if you apply for junior standing. Tough to ascertain exactly how important they are in admissions.

suppose you are waitlisted at a certain school when you applied to it in hs. do they give preference to those transfer applicants?

it shows continued interest, so it can be helfpul and won't hurt.

Why are you looking to get out or rutgers??

I can already tell you that trying to transfer into UMich's Ross while not currently attending the school is virtually impossible.

You'll need to transfer into LSA and then try to get into the B-school.
