transfer out of state aid?

I am looking to transfer from the east coast to a school in California… I was wondering if any cali school such as ucsb or usc will give aid to a transfer out of state… I know there have been budget cuts, but if my grades are good such as a 3.7 will they consider any merit scholarships?? thanks :slight_smile:

UCSB offers little to no financial/merit aid for OOS applicants (Freshman and Transfers). USC is private so their FA/Merit will be more generous for transfers. Check each school’s website.
