Transfer Paperwork Question

Hi, so this is mainly directed at WM Admissions, though if anyone else knows and wants to answer, it would be much appreciated!

I was just going through the forms I'd need to submit with the Re-open application for Spring 2012, and on the section of the website for paper copies I'd found a reference to a Common App supplement I've never seen mentioned elsewhere on the W&M Transfer page or on the Re-Open Application checklist.

Is the College Official's Report still necessary or no? If so, what type of college official is it supposed to be?

Thank you!

With the re-open application, you need to submit the re-open application, the most recent college transcript, a final high school transcript (if that wasn’t submitted as part of your previous application), and the application fee. You’ll also need mid-term grades in late November. The online re-open form is writeable so you can type on the form, print it out and mail it in.

The transfer application does have a Supplement (just as the freshman application does) but that’s only required when completing the Common App, not when doing a re-open application.

The College Official’s Report is optional. If you decide to submit one it must be completed by someone on your campus who can certify that you are in good standing and eligible to return (generally a Dean of Students or similar administrator)

Thanks WM Admission!
