Hi!
So I'm looking into transferring to W&M using the reopen application. I applied last year as a high school senior and was wait listed. I didn't anticipate transferring from my current school, but now I really, really want to. The thing is, that because I didn't think I'd transfer, my schedule is not very well-rounded this semester. I tested out of all of the math and many of the science requirements at my school with placement and AP tests, so I started taking classes for my majors right away. I also had three required (all humanities) classes for a very selective group I am in. So, my question is, if I apply for fall 2012 admission, should I just explain these circumstances and take some more science classes next semester? I had no choice on the required classes for my organization, and i really didn't think I'd be transferring, so I figured I would just start finishing the requirements for my majors!
Thanks!

Any applicant is welcome to explain any circumstances surrounding their schedule. Also feel free to note that you got some credit through AP exams for specific courses. You can do so in the short essay you attach to the reopen application.
