<p>So I applied as a transfer student... my decision is still pending (literally JUST checked! boohoo!) but I just received the email from UCSB Housing for the guaranteed housing thing and to submit the application..</p>
<p>Did everyone else get this? Why would they tell me to apply for housing if I didn't even get in yet?</p>
<p>I have the same email… Maybe we r in on the system but they didn’t release decisions yet??? Let’s be positive!!!</p>
<p>Seriously I wonder what it means… obviously I got the email after 5… So the office was closed… I’m hoping it’ll be open tomorrow since tours are happening on Saturdays in April… I’ll definitely post info if I find anything out! Good luck dude.</p>

for another college i received my housing forms before my acceptance letter & when i checked online it said i got in, the letter came a few days later =P
maybe they’re just delayed in changing your status online</p>
<p>Just called the office of admissions…</p>
<p>They said they don’t know what’s up with that email… they’ve gotten multiple calls about it… They said it’s not a guarantee… but the woman was kind enough to look up my status and said it’s still being evaluated… :(</p>
