<p>Yeah I didn't get into Stanford, I was a top 3 in the class all three years and did a lot of other stuff. I'm not saying this is why I did not get in, but this is my guidance counselor's first year and I may have made bad teacher reccomendation choices, also I did not take advantage of my friends dad who went there. Would it be possible to transfer next year? If so what should I do, should I keep my high school grades up? Where should I go Brown, Hopkins, or Rotgers Honors Program for free?</p>
<p>i hear it's pretty hard to transfer, but someone has to. who knows, maybe you'll end up loving one of those other schools. those are great options you have... just go with what school you'd feel comfortable at.</p>
<p>As I've said elsewhere, I heard God tried to transfer to Stanford, and got waitlisted. It's very hard -- harder than being admitted as a freshman.</p>
