Transfer Postponed

Hi all,
I applied to UMD as a transfer before the early deadline, and they postponed me because they wanted my current grades. UMBC sent my current grades(3.5 GPA) on June 2nd. However on the UMD website it says it is unlikely they are not accepting any more transfers. Does that include me? Am I automatically considered for Spring admission if it does?
Thanks,
Alex

I doubt it because on the website it says all applications received after june 1st and your complete application was received before the deadline. How did you find out your application was postponed?

A few months back I got this:

“Thank you for your application for admission to the University of Maryland. After a careful review of your academic record, the Admission Committee has decided to postpone a decision on your application until we receive your current semester’s grades. We feel it is necessary to evaluate these grades in order to assess fully your academic strengths and abilities. Please request that the registrar of your present college or university forward your current grades to us as soon as they become available. These grades must be final and posted to an official transcript. We look forward to receiving your updated information.”

Do you mean you doubt I will get in or you doubt it will affect me? Also is it hard to get housing in the Spring if I get delayed til then?
Thanks so much in advance

I doubt your application will be reviewed for spring but you could always call the office and ask. Off campus housing should be available year round.

Call the office and ask. Technically, you met the date with your original app.
