(TRANSFER Q.)WHEN do they calculate your GPA?

<p>hello, im a student in a community college and i started going there last year(2005) and ill be applying to 4 year colleges this FALL(2006). And im just wondering.. when do 4 yr colleges calculate my GPA? is it before i apply for transfer or do they calculate my GPA after spring of next year(07)?</p>

<p>What the college would do is look at your college gpa (term and cumulative) from fall 2005 thru fall 2006 in addition to your high school grades and scores.</p>

<p>so does that mean my grades from this fall to spring 07' wont really count for admissions? Im asking because i REALLY want to raise my GPA by getting good grades this fall and spring...</p>

<p>At some schools the decisions are already made by the time the spring term ends May & June). If you are waitlisted, then you can probably use your grades for spring term in hopes of getting a spot off of the waitlist</p>
