Transfer Questions! Please help.

Hey guys, so I’m a student at Florida Tech, Studying Computer Engineering. Im currently a sophomore and am looking forward to transfer out of FIT and move to another school.
I’m looking forward to apply to California State universities and I;m in a dilemma about which ones to apply to. I have SJSU & Cal Poly on my mind for now. I’m kinda worried about not making the right decision as its a really important one.
I really want to know how both campuses are different in terms of-

First question, can you afford the California schools? $36k per year.
Those schools are very competitive, especially for CS, so, as an OOS, your grades would have to be very good.
AND. . . . . . .
There is no financial aid for OOS transfers at CSU campuses. That means NO financial aid.

Which Cal Poly?

SJSU is not Southern California and weather is much cooler and rainier.
CPSLO is in central California and is also cooler than So Cal.
CPP is in LA county. So you’re dealing with LA traffic.
