<p>On GPA: Is it better to get a 3.6 GPA taking 21 credit hours simultaneously, or a 3.8 taking 17 credit hours?</p>
<p>Do colleges look down on students who took a semester or two off of school before they apply to transfer?</p>
<p>Question 1: 3.8 is better although you can argue that 3.6 was a big accomplishment considering 21 hours (you should have a good reason for having to take that much at once).</p>
<p>Question 2: Not if you explain your reasons.</p>
