Transfer questions

I'm currently at a 4 year university and looking to transfer to FSU. However, I called admissions and they said my chances do not look to good based on my high school record (even tho i did get accepted from high school). My question is, if i went to there local community college (TCC) for one year, would i gaurentee me admission since i already completed one year at a 4 year university? also, if i transfer to a different school and got over 60 credits at 2 different universities, will that look worse than getting 60 credits at just one school? I plan on going to fsu as a sophmore or junior and im looking for the best way to do it. thank you

any wisdom anyone??

You want to transfer to Tally Community College? FSU is a state school and should have an articulation agreement with most state CCs. Earn and A.A. and you’re either automatically admitted (depends on how competitive that year is for CC transfers) or given priority consideration.

It doesn’t look bad. I attended two colleges and I got into FIU,FSU,UCF, and UF. Granted, I finished my degree at Miami Dade College and was pretty much guaranteed admission. FSU will strongly consider your high school record if you don’t hold an associate’s from a Florida community college.
