transfer - SAIC to RISD

<p>My boyfriend wants to study architecture, he isn't happy at SAIC and desperately wants to transfer to RISD. He is currently a freshman and applied for fall 2008 admission at RISD. He got into SAIC November of his senior year of high school with some kind of early decision/admission.</p>

<p>What are his chances? He's done very well at SAIC, his teachers love him and wrote great recommendations, and he thinks his portfolio is very strong.</p>

<p>Would it be more helpful to post pictures of his portfolio on here? If you need any more information please let me know.</p>

<p>My daughter is a senior at RISD. She thinks transfer students have an easier time getting into RISD. BUT, she does say that the architecture program is very hard to get into for transfer students. She has friends in the program.</p>
