Hi I am currently a sophomore at SDSU as a business major. I am looking to apply to CP SLO but the major requirements show that BUS 214 and BUS 215 (Financial Acctg. and Managerial Acctg) have “No Articulation Established” for these courses. I am enrolled in Financial accounting at SDSU and plan on Managerial accounting for next semester but this means they don’t transfer! Anyone else facing this issue? All other CSUs and community colleges seem to have courses that transfer directly for BUS 214 and BUS 215…I do not want to take these classes at a community college just because I am taking them at my school. Any advice?
Did you call SLO to confirm these courses do not transfer?
@Gumbymom I did call them but I did not specifically ask. It was more of just a “If ASSIST says that there is no articulation established then we suggest you take it at a local CC.”
Is it possible to talk to someone in the SLO Business College and see if they will let you email your class syllabus to evaluate the courses for a match?
That’s a great idea. I’ll call tomorrow and try to see if they can do that for me.
