Hi! I’m currently a sophomore who got accepted as a transfer student for this coming spring to a branch campus. However, I’ve heard of some people being able to transfer as a sophomore mid-year to main campus because of issues with their majors. I was wondering if anyone has heard of any exceptions like these? I’m planning on driving there and talking to an admission counselor because i love penn state.
What is your major? Some majors run out of classes and their students have to go to main campus early – but those are rare majors. My son is an athletic training major at Altoona and he will have to go to UP for the start of his sophomore year as it’s required for his major. But he honestly would have rather stayed at Altoona for both years.
