Hey I was just wondering if you guys had some average transfer stats for Cornell? I currently attend SUNY geneseo with a 4.0 and before that attended st johns for a semster wiht a 3.74( really werid because geneseo is a lot harder). I'm psych/premed and was considering 3rd year transfer to cornell. I'm not even sure if this is somethign I want because of the academic and social relations I made at geneseo but it is always something I considered. My gpa will probably drop to a 3.5. - 3.7 ish but that all depends i suppose. Thanks!

you have very good stats. I got into ILR after one semester of college. I had a 3.622 last semester and a 3.850 this semester. Make sure you write good essays, get good recs, etc and you certainly have a shot.

What is ILR? (sorry for the ignorance)

also where did you go for one semseter>? thanks

ILR is the school of industrial and labor relations and i'm comming from onondaga community college about an hour away from Cornell

Sweet, I just wish the psych department was in the suny portion of Cornell. oh well

try the school of Human ecology

ive looked into it, and classic psychology seems to be only in the schools of arts and sciences. I would have no problem switching major to human development or something of the sort, but I fear I would lose too many credits. Actually I'd love to switch to some sort of biological engineering but that again would cause me to lose too many transfer credits :/. Oh well. I'm happy where I am, but if I decide to transfer I'll probably apply to cornell among some others just to see what happens. I think at this point, i'm shooting for brown. THanks for your help ! :D
