Hello, I am currently a freshman at Michigan State University.

If i were to 4.0 this year and have 2/3 of the corresponding core curriculum that CalTech recommends, would I have any chance of being admitted?

Also what are some average SAT, ACT, and SAT II of admitted students?

Do I need to take the SAT or ACT to transfer in?

I dont have a definite number on transfer admission but i believe it's <10%.
Caltech doesnt require any SAT, ACT or SAT II for transfer admissions because it has two entrance exams- Physics and Math.
Also, I didn't see your school in the 3/2 page, so you might want to check with the admissions office if you are eligible to apply as 3/2 student (you can always apply as a transfer student).

What is a 3/2 student?

I'm not really sure I understand that. Are they students who transfer in junior year instead of sophomore year?

I think 3/2 only applies to the listed schools. It's meant to be a transfer program for students from liberal arts colleges.
