TRANSFER STUDENT - Application Question

Hello all.

I attended the University of Arizona during the Fall of '11, and submitted an application for W. P. Carey School of Business at ASU with a 3.4 GPA for my first semester of college and was denied. Embarrassing, right? However, I've heard from many credible sources that it's hard to get into if you have below a 3.7 GPA.

On the DENIED status it also said "You are not admissible at this time. Please contact Undergraduate Admissions at 480-965-7788 for options." I was wondering if it would be easy for them to change my application to "undecided/undeclared" without having to pay for another application fee and send my transcripts again. I need to be accepted as soon as possible so I can attend next semester and I'm cutting it close. I need advice.

One of my main questions like I stated before however is if they'll allow me to change my major on my application to "undecided/undeclared" if I call them. Their message to me when being denied implies that to me, but I don't know.

I'd appreciate if anyone could help me answer this. Thanks!

I don’t know anything about ASU, but usually universities have a change of major form you can fill out and fax them or submit online. And if the admission decision says to call admissions for options that usually means they can either defer you or they can tell you what you need to do to be accepted for the following term.

Good luck!
