Transfer Student Chances?

I know someone who is interested in WashU for fall '10, and is currently a freshman at University of Kansas. He has a 4.0 as a business/pre-med student there, and probably will stay at a 4.0 at the end of this spring semester.

He recently visited WashU and is in love with it, and is hoping to transfer, but the problem is he's worried about his high school past, namely ACT = 24, not taking the SAT, and ranking 25/410. I currently attend WashU but I ED'd so I don't know much about transfer information. Can anyone help?

Hmm, I would think with his proven success in college (academically), they would not put as heavy an emphasis on his high school scores. I am not really familiar with the transfer process, though, but I would think his more recent and strong performance would definitely be factored in.

Thank you for your response. That’s what I was hoping for, too. Anyone else have any direct experiences with transferring that could help? I don’t want to encourage him only to have him get rejected…
