Transfer Student (Dorms/Living-Learning Community))

I'll be transferring to MSU this fall and I'll also be living on campus. For transfer students, where do we go? I assume their intended major would be a factor in where they'd be placed.

I'm interested in living in a living-learning community. Does anyone have any experience with these? If so, any information whatsoever would be helpful :)

Also, Brody neighborhood. Bailey in particular; any information would be helpful as this is where I see myself living in the future :D

Also also, quiet floors? How are these compared to non-quiet floors? I'm thinking about living in quiet floors just so that if I have morning classes, I hopefully can get a good night sleep. Other than that, that would be the only reason why I'd want a quiet floor :)
...this...is...MSU! (-_-)

I’m not sure, but I’m fairly certain some dorms or parts of dorms are set for transfer students, so new transfers can meet other new people. I don’t think you get to decide which dorm you live in though
