Hey all!

Community college student in NJ here on the verge of transferring to a school in state for Fall 2010.

I slacked in high school, not realizing the importance of doing well, but worked incredibly hard in college. Consequently, I've been admitted to Rutgers Business School - Newark (Can't apply to RBS NB, my CC didn't offer one of the eligibility reqs.) and TCNJ

I'm looking to do Finance/Accounting.

So here's my thought process, pros and cons.

I know TCNJ was on Business Week's 2008 best business school list at number 76, but it was absent from the list in 2009 while RBS Newark ranked somewhere in the 90s. I'm not sure if TCNJ is improving or if it will return to the list, but I know it's a great school for pretty much everything else, and has received some great honors and reviews; I'm just not sure if RBS Newark is better for business.

Also, RBS Newark just built a brand new facility and has been receiving some great recognition over the past year. Plus, I think RBS Newark is a little less rigorous than TCNJ, so if it's a little more recognized and a little easier that might be a plus.

I'm not sure how the job prospects for the schools are, but I know RBS has pretty good name recognition, plus the Newark campus is very, very, close to NY...so that could be a huge plus.

Some other things to consider: I'll be living on campus, and I don't think I qualify for any scholarships through TCNJ, but I could be considered for RBS Newark, so Newark might be cheaper. Also, I'm eligible for RBS Newark's honor's college as soon as I transfer (assuming they recruit me, I've got a 3.85 GPA the minimum is 3.5).

Any suggestions, anyone? It's a very tough choice, and I'd like to hear some opinions.
