transfer student here at a CC...

<p>Hey guys Adam here... was just wondering what my chances are at getting into AT LEAST one of these schools ( being hopeful, but expecting the worst)</p>

<p>Colleges to apply to: Vanderbilt, Michigan, UNC, Duke, Wake Forest, Clemson, Northeastern, Rutgers (safe), USC ( California), Boston University, Cornell.</p>

<p>Age:20</p>

<p>I will be applying for fall 2015.
high school GPA: 2.8? not sure, didn't really care about my future back then (will be focal point of most essay).</p>

<p>college cumulative GPA: 3.83</p>

<p>1st semester: 3.4 ( 13 credits)
2nd semester: 3.8 ( 16 credits)
3rd semester: 4.0 (21 credits)</p>

<p>I will be finishing my 3rd semester and then applying as a transfer to my junior year. </p>

<p>extra-curricular: certified lifeguard, and personal trainer(NASM), shadowed a physical therapist for 20 hours summer of 2013, started doing volunteer hours for various environmental organizations this summer, working in various STEM projects in our school.</p>

<p>my major will be biology as far as what I will be putting down on the common app.</p>

<p>sorry, was also part of the track team last year, and was preparing to beat the school record for javelin when I ruined my elbow in preseason.</p>
