Hi, im a current CC in florida student looking to transfer to a university to obtain a Bachelors in economics. Im looking to transfer into UF, USF,FSU, or UCF. I just switched my career path from pharmacy to economics. I have a 3.43 Gpa but just starting the bulk of the economics pre req'd for the university. I did get an F in my chm 1046 course and a W in calculus 1. Would that largely affect me getting accepted into these universities even though these classes aren't pre required courses for my major?! Are there other things I can do to be accepted besides have a high GPA and what are some admission. Acceptance rates for any of these universitys? I also wanted to know if it would be wise to again retake my chm1046 class to average out that F with a D atleast. Thank you so much! Any links or tips/advice would be awesome!

Have you talked to an advisor at your CC? Since you’re looking at FL schools, they would have the most experience with what it takes to transfer to one of them from a FL CC.
