Hi, I was Admitted to the following schools: (undergrad)

Drexel University
Illinois Institute of technology

Major: Mechanical Engineering

I am aware that most people would recommend Drexel university, for its coop program and its Campus, But i have my reasons to hesitate.

I am planning to pursue an Aerospace Engineering Minor to prepare myself for an Aerospace/Aeronautics Post-grad study. Drexel unviersity does not have Aerospace Engineering.
Another criteria for choosing: I am a non-party/sober person, some may call me Gamer or geek. which of the two you most recommend?

Is it Worth going to IIT for the Aerospace Engineering program, or should I attend Drexel and follow Aerospace at another Grad School?

Drexel has a fine engineering program but since I am a faculty member in the Physics Department at IIT, I can speak to our program.

The Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering programs are in the same department and so you would have the ability to switch if you choose in the first or second year. We also have a number of 5-year co-terminal programs if you want an MS in Aerospace after a BS in Mechanical. If you have a lot of AP credit, you might even be able to do it all in 4 years.

As I said at the beginning, you can get a fine education at either school, you just need to see if one or the other is a better fit for you. Make sure you visit and speak to students to decide.

If you have more specific questions about IIT, I can certainly answer them.
