<p>What do you think the typical transfer student profile is like for Middlebury? I'm hoping to transfer in fall '08. Anybody got at least some ballpark figures?</p>
<p>I only have numbers relating to the number of applicants.</p>
<p>In fall 2006, there were 199 transfer applicants, 7 of whom were accepted. In fall 2005, only one of 230 transfer applicants was accepted. In 2004, 9 of 221 transfer applicants were accepted.</p>
<p>Holy hell! That's just terrible...</p>
<p>I doubt many transfer students, if at all, will be accepted this year; they overbooked the freshman class.</p>
<p>EmpressLeo, I wouldn't lose all hope. They accepted a ton of transfers just this past year (42, or something like that, I believe), though the overenrollment problem we're facing likely means you'll be facing stiff competition this year.</p>
