During the next few weeks I will be applying for admission at Bowdoin, Amherst and Vassar College. Though I am ecstatic, I am very nervous because I understand how difficult it is to be one of the few accepted transfers. Below I will write my credentials. I appreciate honest feedback anyone withholds regarding my application.

I am a Caucasian female.
Attended Catholic school up until college.
My high school average was a 99.9.
I was ranked 22 out of 219 students.
I was in three different honors programs, including NHS.
I was an active member in five clubs throughout high school.
Volunteered at homeless shelters, soup kitchens, tutored mentally deficient children, amongst other volunteer work.
I've been working since I was 14 to help support my mother (presently 19).
Currently I attend a community college with a 3.94 GPA.
I am in a leadership program as well as English Honors. (Long story why I am at a community college, family reasons).
Looking to double major in Economics and Mathematics with a minor in German.

Again, if anyone has any advice, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Buddy you should know that once you enter college, it’s all about College, not high school. So the adcoms will be expecting post high school activity, stellar college grades and some work experience. They don’t even factor SAT/ACT scores! Try doing a lot of extra curriculars and try to have some work experience, even consider sending a resume/CV!

This varies by school and whether an applicant is applying as a soph or jr transfer. Most colleges ask for and rely heavily on HS record and test scores for soph transfers because applicants have only 1 sem of college work completed. This shifts for jr transfers with the college record more important and HS may be considered little or not at all. For some schools, particularly the more selective ones, HS record and gpa can be a factor at any time.

sounds like you want to transfer from your first year of college.
High school and SAT grades are still prevalent in your app.
You should be ok with Vassar, but the other two are more difficult.
