Transfer student trying to get into UCF Spring of 2012

I am trying to transfer from Brevard Community College to UCF in the spring but I turned my application and transcripts in kind of late(last week). Does anyone think I will be accepted? I heard it was easier for transfer students to get in. As of right now I have a 2.68 GPA with 41 credits and after this fall I will have 53. My ACT score was horrible with a 17. I have military credit also from the Air Force. If anyone can help I would appreciate it!

I think thats one of the schools that you can find out immediately if you will be accepted. If you look on their transfer page they tell you if you’re from a certain Florida college you can go to the school and have someone look at your application and other info and they will tell you on the spot if you would get accepted. I’m also transferring from a Florida college but it’s not on the list :(

I know I meet all of the standard of getting it at least from my college credits and GPA. All I worried about is my high school grades. I hope they don’t base it off of that. It has been a week and a half since I applied and turned my transcripts in and still no word. They still havent received my college transcripts. I need to find out soon because the apartment that I’m trying to get is running out of room

I think that unless you have your Associates, they will still consider your high school transcripts and SAT/ACT scores but you might want to contact Admissions and ask.

GO TO YOUR COLLEGE AT GET A HARD COPY OF YOUR TRANSCRIPTS!!! I sent them electronically like 5 times and they still didn’t get them. After almost 3 weeks I sent them a hard copy myself and requested a return reciept. If you have all 60 credits or plan on having them by the time you start at UCF they should only look at your college transcripts. I had to turn in my college transcripts because I took Spanish in college (dual enrolled).

lol I just had to send my college transcripts again since they didnt receive them. Its been 2 weeks. Im going to UCF on friday to visit my girlfriend there so ill probably turn in a hard copy also. I got a email from admissions saying that since my transcripts were not in by the deadline that they don’t guarentee that they will look at my application…?? Kinda lame. And I will only have 53 after this semester. I was gonna wait till I had my AA but I can’t stand my school anymore. But if I dont get accepted for the spring I will have my AA before next fall so I will deffiantly be going in the fall.
