While Vandy doesn’t offer a pure business degree, you can always design your own interdisciplinary major to include a bunch of business courses. I was able to design my own major (it’s a mixture of econ and business with a marketing slant) but I’ve heard of several friend of friends whose interdisciplinary major proposals were rejected. Although I haven’t taken any in-depth, advanced business courses, I have taken a whole smorgasbord of basic business courses, such as corporate finance, corporate strategy, principles of marketing, managerial accounting, etc…While I do wish we had a few more business course offerings, I feel like we have a decent offering of business classes if you just know where to look i.e. Managerial Studies, Financial Economics, HOD, Engineering Management

thank you. i also searched these courses on vandy website. how do you think whether these courses will be helpful when i graduate? i mean for career, is managerial studies helpful and useful as a minor?

yeah. i am still waiting for other offers…but i think vandy may be the best one i can get…so its really hard to decide…

Did you decide to transfer to Vanderbilt?
Also, I’m trying to transfer to Vanderbilt and I go to UIUC right now. Can you please help me?? any advice?
