I just transferred from a community college and was wondering if I could rush as a junior. What would be the pros/cons of doing so?

Also, it would probably take me more than 2 more years to finish my degree so would this have any affect on getting good bids? Thanks everyone.

I asked this question about sororities when I transferred and they told me there were opportunities for juniors but that they are limited and that it’s extremely competitive, since someone who has more years to be in the greek system was more attractive. I would guess if you have more time here it would help.

Any other thoughts?

Honestly being anything other than a freshman is a disadvantage. It’s not impossible to get a bid as a junior, but it will be significantly more difficult. You should go through rush, but have realistic expectations going in.

Another option you might be interested in is local sororities. Not positive, but I think they are more open to upperclassmen.
