Hello, I am current freshman at Miami of Ohio. I am currently seeking transfer into OSU’s main campus for the 2015-2016 academic year. I was wondering if anyone can give me some help as to what my chances might be, as well as to what they look at. So my grades for the first semester are pretty good. Unless I have a catastrophic failure in the next 3 weeks, my GPA will most likely land north of a 3.0, hopefully in between the 3.2-3.5 range. my biggest concern is that I do not currently have 30 credit hours under my belt, and my high school grades (3.3 GPA) and my ACT test scores (28 composite, 25 on math, 27 on science) will not help me get in. After this semester I will have Chemistry done, and, after next semester, I will have physics and calc 1 under my belt, as well as 30+ credit hours. I study Engineering at Miami, and would like to transfer into OSU’s engineering college.
I am involved in school activities, and am apart of ROTC and I would continue this at OSU.
If someone could help me out in any way with tips, comments, chances, etc. that’d be very helpful. I’m extremely nervous, and cannot stay at Miami for one more year. I feel like OSU, with all things considered, would be the best place for me to spend 3 or 4 years learning and growing.
Thank you.
