I am looking to transfer from St. Lawrence University. I was on the football team, Economics TA, Lead the first year research program, and was in student government. I was nominated for an award for my research paper (pending) and earning a freshman award for excellence. I was also granted one of the top business scholarships that I applied for at my University. I am looking to transfer because I am no longer playing football because in season we spent 6 1/2 hours daily and 4 1/2 hours in the offseason just on football alone and I want to focus on academics. Our team GPA was a 2.7. After my freshman year I earned a 3.5 GPA. Between high school and college I took a prep year and earned a 3.9 Gpa. My SATS are low however. Please let me know what my changes are getting into USC, Wake Forest (family member also attended), UNC, UMIAMI, Cornell and UVA. From my prior experiences, schools tend to understand the time and effort football takes up, more so than others so having a 3.5 GPA includes sports and extra curricular. I am open to all and every suggestions. (Business Major/Pre-law)
