I have recently been accepted and would like to know the best place to stay? I am thinking bear creek apartments, but I have searched some reviews and have seen some nasty reviews. I do not want to move into a house because I will not know anybody, im 20 years old and out of state. What would be a good place that fits me? I enjoy parties and having beers but I am also a biochemistry major so I do a lot of studying (at libraries). Any recommendations from students?

What nasty reviews have you heard about bear creek? I have a friend who lives there and she loves it. Another friend refuses to live there because he feels like it would be a step back from living in a house.

Bear Creek Apartments are some of the newest and nicest on campus. My D didn't choose to live there after her freshman year, but she has several friends that do and they like it a lot. The only downside is that you're in Williams Village and not on the Main Campus, which means a 10-15 minute walk (at least) to get to class. Or you have to catch the bus. But I think it's a great alternative to living off campus. You'd certainly meet more students that way.
