<p>-Are transfer students considered alongside of the freshman candidates or are they in a separate category?
-Does the school have to take a specific number of transfer students?
-What do they expect of their transfer applicants?
-Are they notified of their acceptance/rejection later than other applicants?</p>

<p>The questions that you are asking will be different at each school. You could also search the school threads for info on specific schools.</p>
<p>The best way to get information, however, is to contact each of the schools in which you are interested. Contact the actual department first, then admissions if you are referred there. Sometimes the departmental policy on transfers is different than the general university policy.</p>
