hola~
So, imma senior in high school who applied to several schools - reasonably match/safety/reach school and got accepted mostly in-state. This post seems rude and arbitrary, but after sending my applications off, I realized that I want to be OOS. I will be attending a school (vague, even though you can probably can figure it out) and I AM CONSIDERING transferring IF I DON'T ENJOY MYSELF AT SAID SCHOOL. I have already visited this school MANY times over since my brother attends said school and I have not enjoyed my visits (one of which included getting hit in the head with a volleyball haha - bad luck :( ). I am definitely going to give said school a try and I am going to be open to the situation. BUT in the off chance that I need to transfer, when should it be and what kind of grades should I be maintaining at said school? I currently have a 31 ACT/3.9 UW GPA with lots of EC's/honors. Also, suggestions on what sort of schools I should apply to would be great. I would prefer the north.

It has always been my dream to get out. I plan to be a music major(theory and composition)/medical minor and apply to medical school. :D. I'd like to attend a bigger school.

Don't yell at me or anything for posting this. If you don't want to know where I got into or what not, don't look. Yes, I know it's a great school and I am at the moment content to have received an acceptance. Finances could be a problem but I could probably "get around it".

Don't call me ungrateful. I've heard it before. I'm just trying to be pro-active. I've worked hard in school and I think it isn't too much to ask for to be happy in school at a great university.
