Transfer to Boston University - my chances?

Hey, I need a little help here because I'm freaking out! :(

I applied as a transfer to BU for music education. I had my audition and was accepted into the music program on the spot, which was exciting! I'm a little uneasy about my academics though...I need opinions.

High School GPA: 3.473
Major GPA: 3.529
Overall College GPA: 3.479
(all unweighted)

I wrote a very good essay and I have an enormous (and I mean...huge....) list of extracurriculars, leadership positions, and some awards/scholarships. But I'm still uneasy. What do you think my chances are?

I am in the same boat with similar stats except I am a psych major someone please answer

D7. Average GPA of accepted transfers is 3.57 on a 4.0 scale

You’re not too far from the average. Good luck

Thanks! My status just changed and it says they’ve reviewed my application and I should hear soon. Fingers crossed!

I think your academics look fine, especially in light of the music dept wanting you. Do they still look at SAT? Can you afford BU, for many this becomes the problem- little aid for transfers.

I just found out I got accepted for the spring semester! Thanks for the help.

It was pretty fast. My applicant link changed to “we’ve reviewed your application” around 3pm, and when I checked now, it said I was accepted.
