Transfer to Bryn Mawr as McBride Scholar

Are there any Bryn Mawr students here (past or current) who transfered as a McBride? I understand that the selection process for McBrides are extremely competitive, and I really want to transfer to Bryn Mawr. I’m currently 22, but will be 24 when I enroll. Any advice on how I can better my chances? I’ve been doing loads of research on the application process, including how to write a good personal essay.

If you like the McBride program, there are similar programs at other of the “sisters”. I can’t recall the name, but I believe there is one at Smith.
