I'm a freshman at Northwestern studying economics and have decided I want to study business. Would it be worth it to transfer to another school that offers business (probably Emory, less likely Penn or UVA) and get a BBA or to stay at NU getting a BA in econ and then an MBA? This is taking into account the social and physical adjustment of transferring schools. I feel sometimes like I'm wasting my time not studying business here but know that econ majors at other top schools like Stanford, Harvard, and Duke go on to get great jobs and be successful. Thanks

If you want to transfer because you are actually interested in studying business, go ahead. If it's just about job prospects, stay where you are.

why not stay at your school?

Northwestern has great econ placement... not sure why you'd feel prompted to leave
