transfer to cal or ucla, communication major

<p>someone who can give me some information about communication major for transfer to CAL or UCLA? How about the average GPA to transfer to CAL? My current GPA is 3.8. I finished almost all required courses, but i can not finish calculus course when i apply. Do i have a chance to get in cal? really appreciate!!</p>

<p>I got into Cal from CSU Northridge with a 3.7 GPA (not a communication major - maybe some others can address how impacted the major is).</p>

<p>If you're transferring from a community college, I'd say you have a good chance. Just write some killer essays for your app. I don't know how the calculus course will affect you.</p>

<p>umm I just checked assist.org and neither Cal nor UCLA requires any Calculus for the Communications major. Thus, I don't think it will affect your chance.</p>
