<p>Hi. I'm a "non-traditional" student with an Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from Purdue, over 18 years work experience, primarily as a programmer or database administrator, have a 3.8 GPA in my astronomy/aeronautical and astronautical engineering dual major classes at community college, am female, loads of community service and extracurricular activities stuff, and actually worked at CalTech as a consultant on the National Virtual Observatories project for a while.</p>
<p>First, I'd like to know if anyone has any thoughts on my ability to get in to CalTech and, second, I'd like to know what if anything anyone knows about the CalTech transfer test. I've heard it is hard. What is the format?? Are there any practice exams?? Any suggestions anyone has for helping to improve my chances on the test and getting in??</p>
