I got to a small prestigious private school in New England and while I have a great group of friends here and feel I am getting a good education I feel I am strongly missing out on the college experience. I am an information systems major and have been admitted to clemson as a transfer student for the fall. I am interested in Greek life but know it will be hard to get a bid as a junior. I am wondering how difficult the adjustment would be if I transferred to clemson and if it is worth it to transfer as a junior?

I honestly have no idea about Greek Life since I’m not in it or know anyone who pledged as a junior (you could probably get a fair enough assessment if you ask the Greek Life office: [Contact Us](http://clemsongreeklife.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=27&Itemid=40))

You’ll have to assess how much you really want to pack up everything and move to Clemson. If you are getting a great education and have a great group of friends, it sounds like your college experience is going pretty well even if it isn’t a typical college experience. Personally if I were you I wouldn’t transfer. The saying goes that the grass isn’t always greener on the other side. If you are happy where you are at, I’d recommend staying unless you absolutely have a reason to (and I’m not sure whether Greek Life would be it for most people). Just my personal opinion though.

Let me know though if you have any questions about Clemson! Just curious, what school are you thinking of transferring from? I’m from the Boston area so I’m pretty familiar with the private schools in New England
